To export receipts to CSV in Awesome Receipts: open your receipts, apply any date range or filter you want, and choose Export. You get a file with one row per receipt and 10 columns, ready to open in Excel, Numbers, or Google Sheets.

The columns
What a row looks like
Every export carries 10 columns: Date, Place, Category, Job/Project, Subtotal, Tax, Tips, Total, Currency, Notes. Subtotal, tax, and tips stay as separate figures rather than being folded into the total, which is what makes the file useful for filing rather than just for budgeting.
Dates are normalized to ISO format (YYYY-MM-DD) at extraction time, so sorting works and spreadsheets don't guess between day-first and month-first. Amounts are plain numbers with currency in its own column.

A spreadsheet that keeps itself current
The Sheets connection is the one worth setting up if you look at your numbers more than once a month. Authorize once, pick a new or existing spreadsheet, and sync writes your receipts into it — so a chart or pivot built on that sheet keeps working as new receipts arrive.
We ask for the narrow drive.file scope, which only grants access to spreadsheets you explicitly created or picked through the app — not your whole Drive. You can disconnect or fully revoke access from Settings at any time. More on how data is handled is on the security page.

How do I export receipts to CSV?
Open the receipts list, set any date range or filter you want, and choose Export. The CSV downloads with one row per receipt and one column per extracted field. CSV export is included on the free plan.

Yes. Connect a sheet once and sync pushes your current receipts into it, so the spreadsheet reflects what's in your account rather than a snapshot from whenever you last downloaded a file.
Can I export the receipt images too?
Pro exports PDFs, both per receipt and in batches, with the original image embedded alongside the extracted data — which is what you want for an audit trail.
