Bank statements tell you a merchant and an amount. That's fine for budgeting, but the moment records matter — tax deductions, client reimbursement, a warranty claim, an audit — what's wanted is the receipt: the document that shows the tax paid, the tip added, and what was actually bought.

How is a receipt tracker different from an expense tracker?
An expense tracker usually starts from your bank statement; a receipt tracker starts from the paper. The receipt carries what the statement can't: subtotal versus tax versus tip, and what you actually bought. If you need records for deductions or reimbursement, the receipt is the document that counts.
Do I have to type anything in?
No. AI reads 7 fields off the photo — merchant, date, category, subtotal, tax, tips, and total. You review, correct anything that looks off, and the row is done.
Can I track paper and email receipts in one place?
Yes. Photograph paper receipts in the browser, and forward emailed ones — PDFs and iPhone HEIC attachments included — to your scanning address. Both land in the same list with the same extracted fields.
How do I get the records out at tax time?
