How “free” usually goes wrong — and what the limit is here
Free receipt apps tend to have one of three catches: a trial that expires after 14 days, an export locked behind a paywall so your own data is held hostage, or an interface papered with ads. It's worth checking which one you're signing up for — with any app.
Here the limit is simply volume. You get 50 scans, once, without an expiry date. Scan two receipts a week and that's about six months of use; scan two a month and it's forever. Your existing receipts stay viewable and exportable even after the allowance runs out.
